• Local Storage Only: All your preferences, tracking patterns, and settings are stored locally on your device.

• Network Data: We access public VATSIM and IVAO network data to provide ATC information. This data is publicly available and not personal to you.

Notifications

To provide notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging. Your device token is used solely to deliver notifications and is not linked to any personal information.

Third-Party Services

SimAlert connects to:

• VATSIM API - for network data

• IVAO API - for network data

• Firebase Cloud Messaging - for push notifications

• Firebase Analytics - for anonymous notification engagement metrics

• Firebase Crashlytics - for crash reporting and bug detection

All Firebase services operate in compliance with their privacy policies and do not collect personally identifiable information through SimAlert.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or distribute any user data to third parties. Your privacy is paramount.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

SimAlert uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to improve app performance and user experience:

• Firebase Analytics: We collect limited, non-personally identifiable analytics data solely to understand if push notifications are being opened and read. This helps us ensure our notification system works effectively.

• Firebase Crashlytics: We collect crash reports to identify and fix bugs, improving app stability and reliability.

• No Personal Information: Neither service collects or stores any personally identifiable information (PII). All data collected is anonymous and used exclusively for app improvement.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you maintain complete control. Uninstalling the app removes all associated data from your device.

SimAlert does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for flight simulation enthusiasts of appropriate age.
